a fan asks benedict what he would do for a klondike bar. he blushes and becomes flustered, palms sweating. what is a klondike bar? he asks himself feverishly. the fan waits patiently for an answer. ben c can feel his heart beating faster, faster, tears welling up in his eyes. he is searching for something, anything to say. you can do this, he asserts to himself. for god’s sake, i’m the real! he rises abruptly from his seat. the corner of his mouth twitches with determination. he looks the fan in the eye. he finally opens his mouth to answer. there are no words, simply the whirring of a lightsaber in the distance. klondike bars pour from benedict’s mouth and fill the room. i am the real. i am the klondike.
